Bega NSW

Bega is the rural center of the Sapphire Coast, set at the gateway to the rolling pastures of the lush Bega Valley. Country life includes lazy creeks winding their way through paddocks of picture-book cows, and horses grazing against a backdrop of the darkly forested mountains.

While summer is the choice season in Bega for water activities - as well as horse riding, bushwalking and other leisure sports - the weather at other times doesn't preclude such fun, and in fact, opens more doors for your holiday.

Bega is unique in spring, when you have the opportunity to swim or check the possibility of skiing, such is its reasonable proximity from the Snowy Mountains. This makes the town an obviously popular destination in winter, also for those keen for camping with its many areas to facilitate that night under the stars.
